Beginners - Courses overview
If you would like to experience that amazing feeling when exiting the plane by yourselves and flying on the parachute, you have the following options:
1) Static line course (raps)
This course is aimed at complete beginners, who would like to experience flying and steering the parachute themselves. It is also aimed at those, who have jumped before, but maybe a long time ago or those who previously jumped on round canopies.
2) Accelarated freefall course (AFF)
AFF is the ideal and the quickest way how to become a skydiver. The course consists of minimum 8 freefall jumps from 4 000km (13 000ft) and one tandem jump which gives you an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the environment. You will be looked after by a specially trained AFF instructor. After a thorough ground school lasting for minimum of 8 hours, you will be prepared for your first jump, which you will do with two AFF instructors and a cameraman. Second and third jump will have a same set up. The next jumps you will do with one AFF instructor and a cameraman. During this course you will learn body awareness and stability in freefall and further on you will jump by yourself under your instructor’s supervision. All your jumps are recorded to enable a quick identification and elimination of any mistakes.
3) Solo jump - IAFF
This is the first jump of AFF course. IAFF jump as well as a tandem jump is one of the safest and the easiest ways how to experience freefall. IAFF consists of the theory of the jump and the jump itself. You will exit the aircraft from 4000 km (13 000ft) together with two qualified AFF instructors, which means that you will freefall for 1 minute and spend 6-8 minutes flying on the parachute.
